Works with Xero

Signed documents that file themselves into Xero

Connect Xero to SignAndGo and the moment a document is signed, the completed PDF files itself into Xero against the right contact. If the signer is new, their contact is created for you. No downloading, no re-uploading, no manual filing.

File signed PDFs into Xero

When a document is signed, the completed PDF attaches to the matching Xero contact automatically, matched by email. No download. No re-upload.

Create contacts for new signers

Onboarding someone who is not in Xero yet? SignAndGo creates their contact and files the signed document against it. Opt-in, ideal for new starters.

Route across multiple entities

Run several Xero organisations, even under different Xero logins? Connect them all and send each document to the right one. It lands in the correct entity.

How the integration works

About two minutes of setup, then you use SignAndGo the way you always have. The signed result simply appears in Xero.

1

Connect Xero

Settings → Integrations → Connect to Xero. Authorise your organisations, turn on auto-filing, and choose whether to create contacts for new signers. About two minutes, no developer work.

2

Send a document for signing

Upload a document or use a saved template, add the signer, and choose which Xero organisation it should file to. Send.

3

It files into Xero automatically

The moment the document is signed, the PDF lands on the signer's Xero contact in the organisation you chose, creating the contact if they are new. Open the contact in Xero and the signed document is there under Attachments.

Built for multiple entities

One workspace, every Xero organisation

Many Australian businesses run more than one entity. SignAndGo is built for exactly that. Connect every Xero organisation once, including organisations held under different Xero logins, and they all sit side by side.

Set a default organisation for filing, or pick the destination per document when you send it. A worker onboarded into one entity lands in that entity’s Xero, never the wrong one.

  • Connect multiple Xero organisations to one SignAndGo workspace
  • Works across different Xero logins
  • Choose a default organisation, or route per document
  • Each signed document files into the entity you choose
  • New contacts created in the correct organisation

Made for onboarding

The hardest paperwork to keep tidy is onboarding. A new employee or subcontractor signs an agreement, and someone has to remember to file it, create their record, and put it where the accounts team can find it. That is exactly where documents go missing.

SignAndGo closes the loop. Send the onboarding pack for signing, and when it is signed, the worker appears in the right Xero organisation as a contact with their signed paperwork attached, ready for payroll, accounts payable, or your records. If they were never in Xero before, their contact is created automatically. No re-keying, no chasing, no lost documents.

For businesses with several entities, each new starter files into the correct organisation, so the records stay clean across all of them from day one.

Minimal access to your Xero

SignAndGo only reads and creates contacts and attaches signed PDFs. It never touches your invoices, bank feeds, payroll or financial data.

Legally binding in Australia

Every signed PDF is ETA 1999 compliant, with an audit certificate, tamper-evident hash chain, and a verification ID anyone can check.

Hosted in Australia

All data is hosted in Sydney (australia-southeast1) under the Australian Privacy Principles. Your documents stay on Australian infrastructure.

Xero integration FAQ

The questions we hear most often. If yours is not covered, email [email protected].

Can SignAndGo integrate with Xero?
Yes. SignAndGo connects directly to Xero. When a document is signed, the completed PDF is filed automatically into Xero against the signer's contact, and if the signer is not yet in Xero, their contact is created for you. You connect Xero in a couple of minutes from Settings, with no developer work.
How does the Xero integration work?
You send documents for signing in SignAndGo the way you normally would. The moment a document is completed, SignAndGo attaches the signed PDF to the matching Xero contact (matched by email). It is one-directional: you work in SignAndGo, and the signed result lands in Xero on the contact record. There is nothing extra to run inside Xero.
Do signed documents file into Xero automatically?
Yes. As soon as signing completes, the signed PDF is attached to the signer's Xero contact. There is no manual download and re-upload. You switch this on with a single toggle when you connect Xero.
Does it create a Xero contact for a new signer?
Yes, if you choose to. For onboarding new staff, subcontractors or clients who are not in Xero yet, SignAndGo can create their contact automatically and file the signed document against it. It is an opt-in setting, ideal for onboarding paperwork.
Does it work across multiple Xero organisations?
Yes. If you run more than one Xero organisation, you can connect them all, including organisations held under different Xero logins. Pick a default organisation for filing, or choose the destination per document when you send it. Each signed document files into the organisation you select, so a worker onboarded into one entity lands in that entity's Xero.
Is a document signed through SignAndGo legally binding in Australia?
Yes. SignAndGo electronic signatures are legally binding under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 and each Australian state's mirror Act. Every signed PDF carries an audit certificate with signer identity, IP, timestamp and a tamper-evident hash chain, plus a verification ID anyone can check at signandgo.com.au/verify.
What Xero data does SignAndGo access?
As little as possible. SignAndGo only reads and creates contacts and attaches signed PDFs to contacts. It never reads or writes your invoices, bank feeds, payroll or financial data, so it has access to the smallest useful slice of your Xero.
Is my data hosted in Australia?
Yes. SignAndGo hosts all data in Sydney (australia-southeast1) and complies with the Australian Privacy Principles. Your documents stay on Australian infrastructure.
How do I connect Xero?
Go to Settings → Integrations in SignAndGo, click Connect to Xero, and authorise your organisation. Turn on auto-filing, and optionally turn on "create a contact if the signer is new". That is the whole setup, about two minutes.
Who is the Xero integration for?
Any Australian business that signs documents and uses Xero: onboarding employees and subcontractors, client agreements, supplier paperwork. It is especially useful for firms running several entities, where each signed document needs to land in the right organisation's Xero.
