Where exactly is SignAndGo data stored?
All SignAndGo data is stored in Google Cloud's Sydney region (australia-southeast1). This includes documents, user data, metadata, audit trails, and backups. The data centre is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Does any data leave Australia?
Your documents, signatures, and audit trails are stored and processed entirely within Australia: cloud infrastructure, database, AI processing (Vertex AI), and backups are all pinned to the Sydney region, and document data is never transferred overseas. Operational subprocessors for email, SMS, and payments are listed in our subprocessor disclosure.
What about backup data?
Backup data is also stored within the Sydney region. We do not replicate data to overseas regions. All disaster recovery infrastructure is maintained within Australia.
How does this compare to DocuSign's data location?
DocuSign primarily stores data in the United States, with some enterprise plans offering limited data residency options. SignAndGo stores all data in Sydney by default on every plan, including the free tier. No enterprise upgrade needed.
